Imagine you travelling in your car through space at the speed of light....what would happen if you turn the head lights on...

They would still turn on but they wouldnt extend out in front of you. They would just stay in the light bulb since you are traveling as fast as their beams would be traveling.

I never liked this question because it assumed that a car (or flashlight) can travel at the speed of light. It can't.

It is impossible. If a car move with light speed ( 300000km/s), its mass will be zero ( by Relativity Theory of Einstein). Although I can't actually understand that theory

I thought it would meant that you would exist everywhere at once, not just traveling though time.

But back to the original question. The atom's that make up you and the car would turn into energy and since the head lights emited light (let's say it happened right as you were reaching the speed of light) the light from the headlights would just be added to the energy given off from mass reaching the speed of light.

And Air I think for the second question.

if you were going that fast then you would be mushed into a pulp becuse tree are had to avoid with no head lights

but there is the theory of relitivite thats renders this impossible

anyway, if you moved in 1 mile per hour or in light speed it wouldn't matter, the light would be inside the bulb and thats it, you wouldn't be able to see any light at all outside your car becouse in space it's empty and there would be nothing for the light to show on, no dust, no wall or anything at all.
